Prefix: Year after year. Decade after decade after decade and then some Grandmaster Mike Gerchak continues his daily ritual of martial arts training. We bring you his thesis based on his experience. This is a conclusion based on a foundation of facts and figures gathered up by Grandmaster Mike after visiting hundreds of schools all over the world.

Conclusion: The martial arts industry has a 99% failure rate. 1 out of 100 makes it to black belt. Half the people who get to black belt quit within 2 to 4 years. 80% of the people who get to black belt quit by or before the 10 year mark. 90% of the people who get to black belt quit by or before the 15 year mark.

Solutions: Since it is rare that someone has 20 or 30+ years of continuous training we asked Grandmaster Mike his secret. He first points out the retest rule he copyrighted in 2001 which states: If I award you a black belt that belt expires in one year. You will need to retest once a year for the rest of your life just like we all do. If you are quitting you will need to turn in the belt. With this in mind Grandmaster Mike is planning to lower the failure rate by showing people that martial arts must become a way of life. Being as martial arts is pass or fail Grandmaster Mike says: You simply need to do what I do because I not only passed but I own the programs. Grandmaster Mike is in the process of starting up a school. There will only be 100 openings. Anyone interested must contact Grandmaster Mike Gerchak in person.

GOOD LUCK IN YOUR TRAINING
